There is a version of American life that most people alive today have never experienced but somehow still remember. Not because they lived it — but because something in them knows it was possible, and knows it has been lost.
Communities where people knew each other and looked out for one another. Schools that served children, not systems. A focus on health rather than the perpetual loop of treating disease. Medicine that treats patients, not populations. Economies rooted in integrity rather than corruption. Law that protected the person, not power. And beneath all of it, a shared conviction that human beings are more than consumers, more than data points, more than inputs to someone else’s agenda.
That version of American life did not disappear because people stopped wanting it. It disappeared because the institutions that once made it possible were hollowed out, captured, or abandoned — one by one, quietly, over decades.
Spirit of 1776 exists to rebuild them.
Spirit of 1776 is not a campaign. It is not a coalition. It is not a movement that will peak, fracture, and dissolve after the next election cycle.
It is building something that lasts — a constellation of parallel decentralized structures built in community: health, economy, education, law, land, food, and faith — designed to give free people somewhere to actually live the values they hold.
The Declaration is the first step. What follows is the construction.
This is not a movement. Movements rise and fall with the news cycle. This is architecture, and it’s built to last.
Every arm of Spirit of 1776 operates on the same logic: we do not build from scratch where something already exists and is worth preserving. We identify, connect, and strengthen what is already there — the communities, organizations, practitioners, and traditions that have been doing this work quietly, often without support, often without each other.
Our role is to link arms, build bridges, fill the gaps where no one else has — and where necessary, to litigate, legislate, and build new solutions from the ground up.
This is not replacing the many people who are already doing great work. This is the scaffolding and resources that let that work compound.
We Build
New networks and infrastructure, where what exists has failed or been captured.
We Connect
Communities, organizations, practitioners, and traditions doing this work in isolation — and link them to everything else being built.
We Defend
Through litigation, legal advocacy, and institutional action — ensuring the rights named in the Declaration can be claimed by actual people in actual courts.
The Framework
Medical interventions were just the beginning. The infrastructure to compel technological interventions — on our bodies, our minds, our biometric data — is already being built. If we do not explicitly lock these rights in, they will be locked out. And so will we, as natural persons with the right to remain as we were created.
Spirit of 1776 provides the framework under which everything we are building sits — a legally viable tent, upheld by explicit protections that extend to genome and spirit, under which every vertical, every legal action, every structure we build is decentralized and sheltered. This is the space in which the natural person has the right to exist — whether that means protecting your child from unwanted interventions, refusing to surrender your biometric data, or simply opting out of systems that do not honor your humanity.
For those who believe that preserving our Divine Design is a right that supersedes every law, everywhere — and that this right does not stop at the water’s edge, the server, or the atmosphere — this is the framework built to defend it. In practical terms: no compelled medical intervention, no mandatory biometric data collection, and no penalty for remaining unmodified.
Foundation
Community — The Undercurrent of Everything We Build
Community isn’t one vertical among the others — it’s the ground every other vertical grows from and feeds back into. Not a directory, an online group, or a virtual network. We are building the template — the architectural blueprint — that any physical community in any place can adopt, replicate, and build within.
The communities already exist. The people are already there. What has been missing is the framework, the legal protection, and the scaffolding that lets them function as a free society rather than isolated pockets of resistance.
We are reigniting the civic infrastructure that once supported American community life — the associations, the local institutions, the reciprocal relationships between neighbors — and building real-world ways to get people back into relationship with the individuals and communities around them. Every vertical below depends on this foundation and strengthens it in return.
Health
An Ecosystem with Integrity
You have the right to make decisions about your own body — without coercion, without penalty for refusal, without being forced to choose between your livelihood and your integrity. This is not a political position. It is the oldest of human protections.
The Health arm of Spirit of 1776 is a living ecosystem currently in development — not a directory, and not anti-medicine. We are building this to serve patients and providers alike. For those ready to explore alternatives, our network is being built to include biological dentistry, plant medicine, energy work, naturopathic and functional medicine, acupuncture, herbalism, chiropractic care, midwifery and home birth, and non-vaccinated blood donor access, among many other areas still being added.
For those who prefer conventional care, we are building connections to uncaptured physicians — legitimate MDs who want to practice medicine, not corporate medicine, and who respect patient choice: for example, one vaccine, all of them, or none.
Alongside the practitioner network: health shares, alternatives to traditional insurance, and secure private medical recordkeeping. This benefits practitioners as much as patients.
Economy
Infrastructure That Cannot Be Weaponized
The capture and corruption within the current dominant economic system is a feature, not a bug. This is systemic. Removing bad actors will not fix it — the system is designed to replace them. When access to banking, employment, and commerce can be revoked because of what you believe or what you refused, and when compliance is a condition for access, the economy is no longer neutral. It is a weapon.
The Economy arm is focused on building the alternative: parallel decentralized commercial infrastructure that can’t be shut off for what someone believes. USD, alternative currencies, and metals. Values-aligned business networks. Smart contracts and private exchange. E-commerce or in-person. Commercial opportunity built to run the opposite direction of extraction — money and opportunity that circulate back into the individuals and communities generating them, because owners and customers are choosing each other on purpose. True free market capitalism — building markets where neither government nor corporate monopoly can exclude participants.
We are linking arms with those already building outside the failing systems — and creating the scaffolding that lets that work compound.
Education
Building the Alternative
Most families who see the failures of the current education system do not leave it — not because they don’t want to, but because there is nowhere to go. They cannot afford to be the only ones responsible for their children’s education, and they cannot find the alternative that would make leaving possible. Building that alternative is the work of the Education arm.
This is a full parallel education infrastructure — not a marketplace, and not homeschool-only. We support every path: homeschool, private school, charter, microschool, co-op, and public school families who need better options within the existing system. We work alongside policy experts and advocates who have been fighting this fight for decades, and we use the legal and community infrastructure of Spirit of 1776 to pursue better policy and protect parental rights across all of them.
We are creating real economic incentive for creators and teachers to build and sell courses — supplying the course structure so they can focus on teaching, recording, and selling rather than building from scratch. Curricula bundles are tagged by subject, format, and values alignment — with a path toward accreditation so those courses can be recognized by public schools and universities.
For the parent ready to leave a failing system but unsure how: tutors, homeschool coaches, and genuine hand-holding from that first uncertain step all the way to actually thriving. We do not pretend the captured system can be easily reformed. We build around it — until the alternative is real enough, accessible enough, and strong enough that families can actually move into it.
Legislative & Legal
Rights Without Remedy Are Just Words
The Legislative & Legal arm gives the Declaration teeth — pursuing genuinely novel legal and legislative strategies, building legal defense networks, and coordinating a broad network of policy advocates and drivers at the state and federal level, organized as effectively as the opposition. Our intent is to ensure that the protections named in the Declaration can be claimed by actual people in actual courts.
Current priorities include term limits for federal officeholders; protecting the legal right to access non-vaccinated blood in medical care; and shielding children from government overreach — including school curricula that push ideology over academics, and medical interventions on minors without full, informed parental consent.
Every other arm of Spirit of 1776 draws on this one when the line needs to hold.
Land
Common Ground
The land is where civilization begins and ends. The rights of natural persons are inextricably linked to property rights in the Constitution.
Property, stewardship, and the right to live close to the earth are not nostalgic causes. They are the material foundation on which every other freedom rests. The Land arm connects farmers, homesteaders, tribal communities, families, and consumers who understand that land is not merely an asset. It is a responsibility, a heritage, and a right worth defending — legally, structurally, and in practice.
That includes real estate and property rights more broadly, as large corporate buyers increasingly push small realtors and family land out of local markets across the country.
Food
The Moral Imperative
Control the food and you control the people. The industrialization of the food supply — and the quiet removal of the person’s ability to know, grow, and choose what they eat — is among the most consequential and least discussed erosions of the last century.
The federal regulatory apparatus was not designed to protect consumers from their farmers. It was designed to protect industrial producers from competition. The Food arm of Spirit of 1776 exists to push back — connecting farmers, ranchers, growers, and the consumers who depend on them, and building the infrastructure that makes real food freedom economically viable, not just philosophically appealing.
We support the right to grow, to buy directly, and to know exactly what is in what you feed your family. We are building real economic opportunity for the farmers and ranchers the current system is designed to squeeze out. We are developing programs to teach homesteading, gardening, food preservation, and nutrition. And we intend to help communities drive real change at the state policy level — not through lobbyists in a capitol building, but through the people living it, with the legal and legislative infrastructure to back them up.
That includes the regulatory barriers that have made it nearly impossible for small processors and direct-farm sellers to compete — from access to small-scale meat processing, to raw milk sales, to the patchwork of state laws that criminalize the most direct relationship that can exist in food: farmer to family.
Faith
No Thought Police Allowed
Our Founders shared a conviction that human dignity is not granted by governments or institutions. It is endowed.
The Faith arm does not seek to establish a religion or exclude any tradition. It seeks to protect the freedom of conscience that makes all other freedoms possible — and to stand with the communities of faith that have been the backbone of human civilization in every age and every place. We believe that what animates a person — however named — is real, is essential, and deserves the same protection from interference and violation as every other right named here.
That includes defending against the increasingly common practice of employers and institutions appointing themselves arbiters of whether someone’s faith is real.
Media
Honest Reporting, Amplified
The Media arm links arms with independent journalists, outlets, and influencers already doing honest reporting — and produces original content alongside them, including direct reporting from our landmark press event this fall.
Our intent is to amplify what others have been afraid to say, and to build the media relationships and infrastructure that make honest, independent reporting sustainable for the long term.
This is not just a plan on paper. Work is already underway — in conversations, in relationships, in the quiet assembly of people who understand what is at stake and are willing to do something about it.
The founding signatories are the first generation of something that is meant to outlast all of us. What is being built here will not make headlines every week. It will not trend. But it will compound — relationship by relationship, community by community, arm by arm — until the alternative exists not just as an idea but as a place people can flourish.
